Visitor Visas

Temporary Resident Visas for short-term visits to Canada.

Overview

A clear, personalized path from assessment to decision.

A temporary resident visa or eTA allows a visit to Canada for tourism, family, or business purposes, usually for up to six months per entry. Officers must be satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of the authorized stay, so ties to your home country and a coherent purpose of travel carry most of the weight.

Who this is generally for

  • A clear, documented purpose of travel and travel dates
  • Sufficient funds for the visit, from you or a host
  • Strong home ties: employment, property, studies, or family
  • Medical and criminal admissibility, and a valid passport

How we handle your file

  1. 1Assessment of refusal risk and prior travel or refusal history
  2. 2Preparation of a purpose-of-travel letter and supporting evidence
  3. 3Application filing, biometrics guidance, and status tracking
  4. 4Advice on re-application or alternatives if a refusal has already been issued
